Echinodorus angustifolius| Tc plant

Echinodorus angustifolius (also known in the hobby as Helanthium bolivianum “Angustifolius”) is a freshwater aquarium plant valued for its long, narrow, grass-like leaves and adaptability. It’s part of the sword plant family (Alismataceae) and resembles a slender, taller grass more than classic broad-leaf sword species.

📌 Key Features

• Leaf shape & color: Thin, ribbon-like light to medium green leaves that can grow quite long in the aquarium (often multiple tens of cm).

• Growth form: Forms a rosette at the base and develops runner shoots (chains of new plants) that can spread horizontally.

• Height: Leaves can reach 30–50 cm or more underwater, depending on conditions (more light/space = taller growth).

• Texture: Creates a grassy, flowing background or side planting that contrasts nicely with broader-leaf species.

🌱 Care & Tank Use

• Lighting: Medium lighting is usually sufficient — strong light will promote healthier, denser growth.

• Placement: Best suited for background or midground positions where its vertical leaves add height and texture.

• CO₂ & nutrients: Not strictly required but benefits from stable water conditions and nutrients (especially iron) to prevent paleness and encourage lush foliage.

• Propagation: Spreads via runners — small plantlets form along a stolon and can be separated and replanted to fill areas of the tank.

Within the Qassim region:
We provide you with delivery service within 24 hours for 25 riyals for orders worth less than 300 riyals. Free for any order above that.

Outside the Qassim region:
* Shipping is made to any location within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within 2 to 5 working days with Aramex
*The shipping cost is calculated as follows:
Shipping weight from 1 to 30 kg for 25 riyals. For every additional kilogram, 1 riyal.
Orders exceeding 300 riyals will be shipped for free, up to 15 kg. + 1 riyal for each additional kilogram.

Once we have dispatched your order you will receive a shipping email confirmation, so you know your order is on its way. The shipping email will contain all shipping information so you can keep tracking your order.

Also, you can track your shipping on our website using the tracking reference number. If no one’s at home and we are unable to deliver your item, you will be left a calling card and you will be able to arrange re-delivery.

Standard Delivery Service in KSA

All orders purchased before 1 pm Sunday to Thursday will be collected on the same day as per our standard delivery service and they will be dispatched and delivered to you within 2-3 days.

Next-Day Delivery Service in KSA

All orders purchased before 1 pm Sunday to Thursday will be dispatched by our delivery partner which aims to deliver the next working day. *Please note items purchased after 1 pm Thursday on our ‘Next Day Delivery Service’ will be shipped Friday for delivery on Monday. Any items purchased after 1 pm Friday will be shipped Monday for delivery on Tuesday. We do not offer next-day service on weekends. 

Bank Holiday Deliveries & Public Holidays

Aquarium and our delivery partners do not operate during Bank Holidays or any other Public Holidays. We are unable to dispatch or deliver items purchased during this period. We ask you to allow extra time for delivery when placing your order around Bank Holidays and other Public Holidays. Our normal services resume the next working day. Important Notice: Bank Holidays and any other Public Holidays will override any express service you have paid for during checkout. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
